Hey! Remember us?!

So I was reading an old friend's blog the other day, when it occurred to me...."Hey...I used to have one of these!" I decided that it might be time to update it (after all....it had probably been a few months), and after 30 minutes of trying to remember how to log in, I finally made it to our blog, only to find that it has, in fact, been 2.5 YEARS since the last entry.

Oops.

Time really does fly when you're having fun, huh? I am not even sure how one would begin to update everyone on what we have been doing for the past 2.5 years, so I am not going to bother. Suffice it to say, we are all happy, healthy, and doing well! Danny is working at Bank of America (which is where he was when we last left off). I went back to work 2 years ago, and am happily back in the adult world (not to be confused with some sort of adult industry...of which, I have no involvement).

The kids are absolutely fabulous, and let's be honest....that's the only reason anyone reads this blog anyway, right? So I will give you an update on each of them.

Logan is going to be 8 in April. It's hard to believe! He is in 2nd grade now, and he is just as smart as ever. He enjoys school (love is a strong word, but he does enjoy it)...especially science and reading. He is active in Jr Engineer League (aka Lego League). He plays baseball in the Spring and the Fall, although he is working hard to convince me that he should be allowed to play football this year. He still has a lot of work to do if that's gonna happen! He is sweet, sensitive, and the most forgetful human being that ever walked the Earth. We love him to death.

Lila is going to be 6 in May. She is in Kindergarten (and acts like she is in 10th grade). She LOVES school, and does very well. She is bored out of her mind in Kindergarten and can not wait to get to the "real" stuff next year! She does gymnastics, cheer, and Girl Scouts (which I somehow convinced myself to volunteer for - me being a troop leader for 9 easily influenced little girls. It's been a true test of my ability to control my......colorful language.) She is charming, beautiful, and on the road to being a monster of a teenager. She makes us smile every day!

And that's basically it! I am going to do my best to update the blog more often. Even if it is just a quick picture here and there. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you are all doing well!
