My (first) baby is growing up!

I just got done signing Logan up for his first ever season of Tball!!  I am so excited!  Of course thevery thought of him in that adorable little baseball uniform makes me get all weepy.  I am a little concerned people will be calling 911 to report the whack job sobbing at the first game.  Ha!  The season doesn't officially start until March, but I will be SURE to post pictures as soon as he gets his uniform!

Last night, the lottery was held for the charter school that we were hoping Logan could attend next year.  It's a public school (meaning - it's free), but it is not associated with the gigantic school district that we live in, so it's essentially like getting a private school education for free.  Needless to say it's VERY competitive to get in.  This year, there were 474 kids who registered for the mere 34 kindergarten slots.  After the completely random lottery last night, we're lucky number 249 on the waiting list.  Sigh.  So, Logan will be attending the elementary school that is right around the corner next year.  This is not really a bad thing.  The school itself is only about 3 years old, and I have heard nothing but great things about it.  I think at this point I am just scared to send my baby out into the world.  Any encouraging words would be great!

That's about it for now.  I am adding some pictures that really have nothing to do with anything.  Just cute ones of the kids playing last weekend.  Enjoy!

My sweetheart

He can be tough too....look out Tball players!

This is just funny...I don't know what was going on!

Can you say, DIVA???

Pretty Princess!

FINE! I'll update it!

Okay, so I will admit that I haven't been updating this nearly as often as I should, but hopefully if you have Facebook you've been able to see updated pics of the kids.

Things are good here.  Spring is TRYING to break through and we are loving every minute of it.  The kids are well.  Logan has started reading.  He is still working through the simple stuff, but he is doing it, and we are amazed every time.  It's so cool and he is so proud of himself.  It's hard to believe he'll be 5 in April and starting Kindergarten.  It makes us sad, but so excited at the same time.  I think he will love school!

Lila is Miss Sassy Pants these days.  She's rapidly approaching 3, which we all know is the age of defiance (at least for a toddler) and she loves to be a Gemini...one minute she is a sweet little cuddle bug and the next she is shreiking in the most blood-curdling scream you've ever heard.  Simply because we uttered the one dreaded word that every two year old hates to hear....."no."  She loves to sing and tends to walk around the house singing about everything going on around her.  It's very cute!

Danny and I are great.  Nothing much new.  He started his new job in October and he likes it a lot.  I am still babysitting and things are going well.

Now it's time to get the kids ready and out the door to get Logan to school on time.  I promise I will be better about updating now that I have FINALLY figured this website out!  Hooray!!

Lila's new haircut!

Handsome Logan

We LOVE to jump!

And we have learned how to levitate!

We considered boxing them up and shipping them to NY!

Speaking of NY, what do you all think of our "snow storm?!"  We got 2 inches and the kids LOVED it!!

As always, matching "wife-beaters" are a huge hit at our house!

What's better than kids reading together??
